Steve Jackson Games

Founded 1980 by (surprise, surprise) Steve Jackson and has since created many intersrsting games, books, magazines and minis.

For RPG-fans, like my self, GURPS (Generic Universal RolePlaying System) is perhaps the most interesting product, but other RPGs they've produced includes Toon and In Nomine. Not to forget Discworld (co-produced with Terry Pratchett), Transhuman Space and Hellboy that are all powered by the GURPS system.

Other great games from this company includes Munchkin the game of roleplaying wrongness, Frag which is a first-person shooter unplugged, and Illuminati the concpiracy game of world domination. That is a few of the games, but the list is long.

Also Steve Jackson Games run an online gaming magazine called Pyramid which features a lot of information on current things in the hobby. Not to mention the extensive articles with ideas for your gaming.

As a way of presenting their games to the public SJG have a network of Men In Black (who might not always be men or dressed in black) that can answer questions and show up their games and demo them on conventions and the like. I am such a MiB. Perhaps that's why I have written this.
